The shadow, and what a player found.
Yesterday's shape was a heart. Someone saw, in the shadow of a bouquet of wildflowers on the tiles, two petals that formed a perfect heart.
The score is based on shape similarity, not speed or likes.
Why calm
A game that doesn't pull at you.
Schaduwvanger is made for one moment a day. You open it, you look at the shape, you close it. After that the shape stays with you while you run errands or walk to work, and at a moment you don't expect, something falls into place.
That moment we don't want to spoil with leaderboards, friend feeds or push notifications that pull you back to your phone. One notification in the morning, and after that the app is quiet until you open it yourself.
Photos submitted by other players are automatically scanned for inappropriate content before publication. Anything that slips through, we remove by hand. A quiet grid belongs to a quiet game.
